Seven new members were officially oriented at the Chanute Jaycees membership meeting last night. Ray Christiansen conducted the orientation of Ron Sutcliffe, Dennis McLaughlin, Charles Winfrey, John Schultz, Russ Corbitt, Alan MacNabb and Larry Truster. History of the Jaycee organization and the current structure at local state national and international levels were explained. Andy Livingston of Coffeyville Jaycees spoke on the Southeast Regional meeting in Coffeyville on April 17. President Dean Sutcliffe announced Herman Colvin's resignation as first vice president due to taking a new job in another town. Other business included reports by Jack Groves and Gary Lantz, and the announcement of George McCune as a new Chanute Jaycee director.
