19 year old Tom Goodwin of Chanute Kansas is hospitalized with a broken jaw and multiple cuts after a crash on US 69 in Johnson County. His light stock truck and a pickup were involved. William Sueferling, 65, of Louisburg, also injured. Goodwin’s 1954 sedan was demolished at the accident scene.
Coin dealers and collectors from the tri state area opened a two day convention and coin show at the Masonic Temple. Exhibits will be on display for public viewing until 9 30 tonight and again tomorrow from 9 30 a m until 9 30 p m.
