Mose Shirley of Chanute Finds Shrine Welcome in Corpus Christi

The 95 year old Mose Shirley, a longtime Chanute grocer now living at Nursecare Nursing Center in Corpus Christi, was surprised to learn Shriners there honored him for 60 years of Shrine membership. A parade of clowns motorcyclists and a dune buggy drill team entertained the 130 residents, and Shirley received a fez and a lifetime Shrine card after the visit.
