Police were called to the Tio ga Hotel taproom at 11 40 p m Saturday to a disturbance as a patron allegedly kicked instruments and struck players. Charges were to be filed. A 1966 Mustang owned by Gary Parker was stolen and found nearby with rear fender damage and a flat tire. Two youths on a motorcycle knocked a man’s glasses off, then struck him before leaving. the victim was treated at Neosho Memorial Hospital.

Explosion injures four youths near Joplin
An explosion in a car, possibly from a home made bomb, critically injured Clarence Wallace 23 of Treece Kan and injured three companions.
