Woman Hurt In Car Crash Near Erie
Mrs. Emma L. Taylor 82 of Chanute R 4 was admitted to Neosho Memorial Hospital for face injuries and observation after a two car collision near Erie at about 4 05 p m yesterday. Nicholas F. Bonilla 21 of 1009 S Forest was treated for minor injuries and released. The accident occurred two miles north of Erie at the Shaw road and highway K146 junction. Taylor started across US 59 eastbound and Bonilla s car struck her left side. The Taylor car sheared off a utility pole and ended in a ditch. Both cars were total losses.
