Three area fathers were declared winners of roast beef or steak dinners in a stork contest tied to Father's Day. Sponsored by the Kansas Cow Belles, the program honored new fathers in Allen Neosho Woodson counties with meals from local sponsors. In Allen County Conrad Jackson won with twins, in Neosho Dale Maxwell became a father of a daughter, and in Woodson W A Seybold became a father of a son.
