Man Is Arrested On Burglary Charge
Police arrested Stow Allen Black, 21, of 1320 S Santa Fe today on second degree burglary and larceny charges connected to a June 9 break-in at the Country Club. He is held at the city jail pending further proceedings. Loss included about $45 in cash and 13 fifths of liquor. an expensive scotch from the haul was found in Black's car.

Two Pedestrians Killed in Wichita
In Wichita on a southwest street two pedestrians, Robert E. Hildreth II and Roger Lincoln Jones both 20, were struck and killed by a pickup truck. A third pedestrian, Frank A. One Car Crash Fatal in Wichita
Billy R. Oakley, 39, of Wichita, died Monday night in a crash involving a small foreign sports car. Police said the car had been reported stolen minutes earlier and Oakley was pinned beneath the wreckage before firefighters freed him. He died en route to a hospital.
