British Commando Engineers Working in Kansas
About 200 British soldiers from the 59 Independent Commando Squadron Royal Engineers train near Milford Reservoir at Ft. Riley under a US UK exchange program started in 1972. They upgrade rolling hills area facilities including a breakwater, roads, camp pads, parking, and handicapped facilities, while learning left hand driving and operating US Army equipment.
