Computer tracks Wisconsin child support delinquents in Dane County
Dane County uses a TBM computer to monitor 4 500 paying fathers. The system began February 1 and aims for full operation by July. It issues notices for late or missing payments and provides judges with payment histories. About one third of fathers fail to pay, and AFDC cases rise as lagging parents go unpaid. By 1975 an estimated 10 000 fathers will owe support.
