Missing Five Weeks Woman Found In Missouri River
The body of 19 year old Mrs Glenna Ingersoll of St Joseph was found Sunday by a fisherman about 10 miles downstream. A pathologist said she had been in the river for several weeks with no signs of violence. A coroner jury found time and cause of death unknown. She disappeared April 29, eight days before her first wedding anniversary after finishing work at a stationery firm. She is survived by her husband Paul Ingersoll and her parents Mr and Mrs Glenn Richardson of Elwood Kansas.

Five year old Garry Carpenter was found safe in Joplin Missouri after being enticed into a car at a Kansas City amusement park on Saturday night. He described riding in a car with a man, sleeping in a house, and receiving 80 cents to buy a toy car before the man drove off. The boy was reunited with his mother Teana Carpenter and father Richard Carpenter after a nationwide search by family, fire crews, police, and dogs.

One Injured in Rash of Accidents Weather
William Dopps 34 of Wichita was shaken but not seriously hurt in a collision near the municipal airport. A 1951 Chevrolet pickup hit a 1951 truck driven by Ed Bussman and overturned against a utility pole. Dopps received a left side bruise and was taken for observation. Bussman and his 14 year old son Bob were uninjured. Man Fights Bear: 70-Year-Old Cutter Saves Self with Knife
Arthur Le Gault, a pulp wood cutter, battled a female black bear for about 20 minutes near Engadine, Michigan. Tractor Driver Killed By Airplane Wheel
