First June primaries yield few delegates for both parties

Wheat damage reported across east central Kansas after May freeze

Up to half of some east central counties' wheat crop is reported lost due to the May 3 freeze. The Kansas Crop and Livestock Reporting Service notes scattered rains helped other areas, with 95 percent heading by last weekend, 5 percent coloring, and barley yellow dwarf virus observed in scattered areas.
