Two Children Rescued In Odd Canal Accident
In Schuylerville New York Wayne Weidman left his two children in a car that rolled ten feet then dropped twelve feet into the Champlain Canal and settled in six feet of water. Two passersby Jeri Mayer and Rollie Haley opened doors and rescued Wayne Jr eight and Christine eighteen months. Both children were unharmed. Police suspect the child used the car controls.
