Dodge City Man Killed in Crash
A head on collision between a pickup and a transport truck near Scott City Kansas killed Ivy Sickler of Dodge City. Elbert Westerman 39 of Lamar Colorado driver of the truck was hospitalized for shock and minor injuries. Both vehicles collided in the center of K96 about 3.2 miles west of Scott City. Westerman swerved left to avoid the pickup after misjudging its lane.
