William Samuel Knight, 28, pleads guilty in Circuit Court to first degree murder to secure a life sentence and a three hour weekly conjugal visit with his ex wife Ronda, 25. Knight will be eligible for parole in 10 years as private inmate visits are reviewed case by case.
Fire swept Westminster Terrace Presbyterian Home for Senior Citizens in Louisville at about 1 15 a m killing nine occupants and injuring at least 48. Night nurse Helen Turner discovered the blaze and residents were evacuated to hospitals a church and nearby homes.
