Plane Sighted in Holston Mountains Near Kingsport
A twin engine Southeast Airlines DC3 with 10 aboard was spotted burning wreckage about 300 feet below a Holston Mountain summit, 20 miles east of Kingsport Tennessee. A Tennessee Air National Guard flier located the site and rescue parties were dispatched.
