Seven persons were held for questioning after the fatal stabbing of Raymond Kilanoski, a 50 year old Independence night club operator. Truck Collides With Engine In Walnut Street Crossing
Several traffic incidents were reported Saturday. The most serious involved a Santa Fe freight engine colliding with a 1949 Ford truck driven by Loise Cole, who was treated for a head cut at Neosho Memorial Hospital and not seriously injured. Engine operator was R. P. Williams. Damage to the truck was about 250 dollars. Other minor collisions occurred at Cherry street US 169 and near the Lodal home alley with minimal damage. two other uninvestigated incidents were noted.
