Blast Kills 2 Workers in Ransom Oil Tank
Two men were killed when an oil tank exploded while they welded it near Ransom Kansas. The blast occurred on Mrs. Lew Horchem’s property two miles south of town as a newly drilled well, pumping about 100 yards away, fed the 12 000 to 15 000 gallon tank. The bodies were sent to a Ness City funeral home.
