Slow start for Safari West housing rental
Nine of forty two Safari West townhouse apartments have been rented. Dave Garrett of the Jaycee project said the slow pace stems from a Federal Housing Authority rule revealed after the January open house. The rule requires nonqualifying renters to pay fair market value until 90 days after the mortgage is signed, scheduled for March 1.
