Packing Plant Worker Shot Near Home in Kansas City
Edward Williams a 47 year old Negro and Wil son & Co packing plant worker was shot with a shotgun in his backyard. Twenty five pellets struck him but his condition was not critical. Williams had joined a strike with Local 20 of the United Packinghouse Workers of America last October and returned a month later. Earlier attacks on his home included a shattered window and a brick thrown through another window.

Bomb Hoax Evacuations Hit Topeka Buildings This Weekend
