Clinton Oil Co of Wichita will acquire 1700 oil and gas wells from Pan American Petroleum Corp of Tulsa for just over 50 million dollars. The deal, the largest mid continent oil transaction recently, will close January 1 and take effect April 1. Pan Am is a subsidiary of Standard Oil of Indiana.
