Wichita AP reports Donald L. Whitaker 30 killed when his car hit a Santa Fe mail train at a crossing near St John Kansas. Whitaker lived in Haysville and worked for Richardson Scale Co in Wichita. Engineer A H Johnson of Newton says train speed was 65 to 90 mph and Whitaker’s car was carried about three quarters of a mile.

Two Fredonia Youths Injured in Car Crash
