Body Found In Buffalo Creek After Search for Missing Girl

Shirley Sauders sixteen years old was found in Buffalo Creek about half a mile southwest of a low water bridge one mile north of Buffalo in Wilson County authorities said. The search began after her car was found abandoned near the bridge Tuesday night amid heavy rains.

Mrs Florence Kelley postmaster announced the Chanute post office will stay open 8 30 a m to 4 30 p m on Saturday to handle heavy mailings and prevent pileups. The normal 12 30 p m closing is extended to assist late shoppers.
