Cedar Vale Kansas bank president Ray D. Oltjen and his son Thayne D. Oltjen were indicted by a federal grand jury on 22 counts of embezzlement totaling 1 010 730 from Cedar Vale National Bank. The bank failed with 3 824 263 in deposits and 2 848 739 in loans.
