Day care does not harm children study finds
A pilot study by University of Kentucky psychologists shows children in day care are not mentally or socially different from those raised at home. The findings suggest family structures adapt to day care and that fathers increase evening involvement, with more diverse family backgrounds among day care participants. Over 100 mostly white, middle income families were studied.
