Wheat growers seek legal challenge to export controls
The National Association of Wheat Growers hires a Washington law firm to study the legality of the administration embargo on grain exports to Russia and Poland last summer. NAWG may seek action if the study finds viable legal or other avenues, as farmer resentment grows amid policy conflicts with the Ford administration. The study is due in early January and to be reviewed at the Jan 18 to 22 meeting in Billings Montana.
