Paraplegic Connie Bogers Becomes Yates Center Teacher
Connie Bogers, a 26 year old paraplegic who survived polio and scoliosis, is now a fulltime art and language arts teacher at Yates Center Elementary. Principal Wesley Buller and Superintendent Wendell McMurray praise her communication, attitude, and contribution after overcoming early doubts and four years in hospitals.
