Angus bull from Illinois exposition shows slow recovery
A two year old Angus bull valued at 200000 damaged a leg at the International Live Stock Exposition in Chicago and is progressing satisfactorily. Owned by Robert Laflin of Olsburg Kansas the bull was led to a stall when it slipped and was moved to the University of Illinois veterinary clinic for treatment. A spokesman said it will take ten days to two weeks to assess bone healing and the bull may be used as a donor for artificial insemination if healing succeeds.
