Greenough 22 wife of a Salina airman died Saturday afternoon at Neosho Memorial Hospital from injuries suffered August 19 in a two car collision three miles north of Thayer at the U.S. 169 and K47 intersection. Driver Is Saved From Burning Truck In Stroud
A truck carrying 8000 gallons of liquified petroleum went out of control near Stroud Oklahoma crashing and burning. Motorist Jim Armstrong of Oklahoma City pulled the trapped driver Lester Vaden 54 of Enid to safety before the cab ignited. A half mile area was cleared and two rural families evacuated. the fire burned until 130 this morning.
