Chanute Man Drowns At Brown Wells Dam Neosho River
A Chanute man, Jimmy Edgar Smith 37, drowned while fishing at Brown Wells dam on the Neosho River Tuesday night. His body was found about 200 yards down river from his car. police suspect he waded to free a snagged line.
