Crash Kills Two Airmen in Colorado Pasture

Two Boys Rescued From Carthage Cave
Two Carthage teenage boys Stewart Johnson 17 and Tommys Smith 16 were rescued after about 12 hours trapped in a cave south west of Carthage. They entered Friday afternoon with a rope that failed and left them in darkness before highway patrol, sheriff deputies and Carthage police freed them at 1:30 a.m. Nineveh Deputy Ed Goss went into the cave to assist their escape.
