LSD possession charge tied to Emporia man Edward Tabares

Edward Tabares, 20, Emporia, was arrested Sunday for possession of LSD and intoxication after five boys reported two men offered them LSD. Tabares escaped briefly, returned, and faced trial set for Aug 30 with bond requests. A seized envelope contained items resembling drugs. He was released on own recognizance for a court conference.
