The 78th Allen County Fair starts Monday at Riverside Park with four nightly special events. Tractor pulling Monday at 7, horse pulling Tuesday at 7, 4-H fitting and showing Wednesday at 7, and 4-H livestock auction Thursday at 8. Police and Civil Air Patrol teams searched for a missing Okmulgee plane near Pratt and Haviland as fog hampered efforts. Lt. Col. John Nail said aircraft would resume once weather allowed. The craft, bound for Cheyenne, was last heard near Hutchinson Municipal Airport.
