Powder Truck Blast Kills Ten in Roseburg Oregon
An explosion from a truck carrying 62 tons of explosives including two tons of dynamite and 42 tons of ammonium nitrate killed at least ten people in Roseburg Oregon. The blast levelled six blocks of downtown and damaged adjacent buildings as fire raged for hours. Hospitals treated 52 injured. National Guard patrolled to prevent looting.
