Neosho County budget heirs to 67 percent tax rise proposed
County officials announce a 1977 budget plan with a 67 percent overall increase over 1976 and a 36 percent rise in the county mill levy to 28.76 mills. Public hearing is set for Monday August 16 at 10 a.m. in Erie to review county revenues and expenditures and federal revenue sharing funds.
