Father Daughter Reunion After 37 Years in Neosho
John Gant of 1820 S Central was reunited Wednesday with his daughter Marie Schoon of New Hartford Conn for the first time in 37 years. A surprise party at Neosho Memorial Hospital followed his discharge. several other relatives joined, including Wanita Bannana, Margaret Bestgen, John Gant Jr, Bob Gant, and Mr and Mrs Art Peters.

Twenty five Royal Neighbors of America members met yesterday at Santa Fe Park north shelterhouse for a noon meeting and covered dish meal. Committee members were Mrs. Robert Rader Mrs. Ora Ritterhouse Mrs. Roy Dalton and Mrs. Vatel Slane. Birthdays for Mrs. Nathan Hole Janet Hole and Ethel Faton were noted. Mrs. George Basler was remembered by the president during the gathering. The September 5 meeting will be held in Odd Fellows hall.
