Godfrey Undergoes Left Lung Surgery for Tumor
New York report says Arthur Godfrey had part of his left lung and a malignant tumor removed in a five hour operation at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. A post operative bulletin stated he withstood the surgery well and was moved to a recovery room in good condition awaiting further recovery.
