Cunningham sweeps City Commission race in Chanute
Cunningham won all nine Chanute precincts to secure a four year City Commission term with 2 454 votes, defeating Barbara Kihm who took a two year seat with 1 421 votes. Lesher finished third with 1 203 votes and Tucker 985. Both victors pledged to study city government and meet officials as they prepare for sworn-in duties on April 14.
