Mrs Mary E Miller, proprietor of the Sheridan house at 47 Main street, says her husband H Hayy Miller abused her Thursday and left after she ordered him from the hotel. The cement contractor earned $5 to $15 daily but she claims he contributes nothing, and she will not support a man who mistreats her.
W A Bixby, manager of McKinley syndicate properties in Decatur, will move to Quincy early next year to head the Quincy Gas and Electric Co. as a promotion. L E Fischer of Danville is named as Bixby’s successor in Decatur, overseeing McKinley interests including the Danville to Champaign interurban and other shorter lines.
The grand stage spectacle Mr Blue Beard closes its Chicago run at the Iroquois Theatre on Randolph Street with final performances through January 9. The production features lavish scenic design, a large cast of dancers singers and comedians and spectacular effects praised by audiences.

The company, organized as a Kettle corporation, has $25000 capital stock held in Chicago, with the mine’s management at Thebee under Denham, who alleges he bore the financial burden.
