Chicago December 15. Grigsby a 9 dollar a week helper for M L Barnett Co is accused of stealing up to 12000 to 1000 dollars worth of vanilla beans during nine months. Police found 250 dollars worth of beans on him plus skins and fine goods at his home and office. Manager Rose suspected embezzlement after stock ran low and identified Grigsby from a group photo. He allegedly explained I needed a little ready money. He was arrested by Constables Buechel and Spiro at 3012 Indiana Avenue and faces questions on the missing stock and expenses.
