Falls From High Trestle Kills Thirty Six in Bridgeport Crash
A Milford Street Railway car plunges from a fifty foot trestle at Peck's Mill stream near Bridgeport. Thirty six bodies recovered, dozens injured, and fear that more may be buried in mud. The wreck happened about 3 PM on Sunday. the car carried about forty to fifty passengers bound for Shelton.
