Several hundred old-time residents and family friends gathered at the graveside in Rolatfort yesterday for the funeral of pioneer George W. Taylor. The priest Rev Harrigan presided at the Rotatfort cemetery while the Knights of Pything conducted lodge rites. Taylor lived in Lewis County for many years and is survived by a sister and family. John R. Taylor of Chohalla is noted as a brother, with another brother having died recently.
