County Board Bids Coal For Court House Accepts Low Offer
County commissioners met in adjourned session in March 1906 to open bids for coal for the court house for the year. Frade R. Mia offered the lowest and best at 2.75 per ton, Fredrick & Hoggpllin at 3.00, and Miller Bros at 2.75 with delivery. The board accepted Frade R. Mia’s bid after janitor quality review. They also approved tax adjustments and sidewalk bids, and set up a road hearing and a four year county school inspector panel.
