Thrown From Train Near Oakville Fatal Injury
Frank Brady a 28 year old cook fatally injured on a Northern Pacific passenger train from Elma to Olympia. An Austrian assailant, not apprehended, stabbed Brady in the groin and pushed him from the train about four miles east of Oakville. He died later in Olympia after peritonitis and exposure. the attack occurred Thursday night and Brady was found Friday afternoon.

Olympia Pioneer Dies. David B. Palsley, a retired captain, of Olympia, died Christmas evening after a brief illness. He was 76 and had lived in Olympia since 1888. A widow survives him, with two brothers and two sisters in Italy.

Last Saturday a new temple completed at a cost of $18,000 was formally dedicated by Odd Fellows with many visiting brothers. Prominent attendees included Grand Master Birdseye of Spokane and other grand officers, as well as local clergy and officers. The dedicatory services began after two oclock with Miritussis Vic rites, speeches by Grand Secretary Mart and others, a Methodist male quartet, eight candidates initiated, and a band reception on the top-floor.

Fatal Fight in Tenino Over Horse Incident
