Leon County considers annual rabies vaccines for pets
Leon County Commissioners Court discussed requiring annual rabies vaccinations for dogs cats and ferrets and appointing an officer to enforce the rule. Veterinarians would provide shots at an estimated 3000 dollars monthly plus fuel. The proposal was tabled pending talks with Scott Dezell and the county trapper.
