Centenary Papers recalls Alta pioneer journeys and Benson Building history
In this issue, Personal Pioneer Stories from 85 years ago recount an Alta pioneer's tale of traveling three days to Storm Lake for supplies, aided by old Bessy for milk. The Benson Building photo at Lake Avenue and Railroad Street, 1882, once a real estate office, later a barber shop, anchors the Centenary edition.
