Amon Carter publisher of the Fort Worth Record Telegram was escorted from the football field at College Station after shouting Hurmah for A M and Dan Moody during the Texas Aggies versus Texas University game. Governor Miriam A Ferguson and her party were present. President J C Walton warned Carter to desist and threatened to call officers. Carter persisted and was removed by special officers.
Pekin reports that warlord Tso Lin has gathered ten thousand troops before his palace and vows to resist the revolt. Meanwhile General Kuo Sun Lin advances from Shan Huai Kwan toward Mukden, wrecking bridges as he seeks Chang Tso Lin's abdication. Sun Chuan Fang plans a drive toward Pekin, with troops moving toward Nanking from Han Chow.
A forecast shows fair and continued cold conditions tonight, followed by Saturday becoming fair with increasing cloudiness. The briefing notes improving air pressure and light winds across the region with minimal precipitation expected.
In Benton County justice court Judge G W Burnham released Tommy Lockhart 15 Leo York 18 and Charlie Heath 22 all of Mt Auburn on bonds of 509 each. York and Heath confessed to raids on local hen roosts while Lockhart denied guilt amid pleas that they needed money for booze cigs gasoline and dance tickets as grand jury proceedings loom.
Friends of Rev. W. T. Sherey, former Christian church pastor in Washington Iowa, report his resignation and plan to enter the Florida real estate business. He declared, I am going to say goodbye to God and go to Florida. He later accepted a church in Illinois after resigning here last spring.
