S A Ullom has been notified of appointment as member of the pharmacy headquarters building committee by the American Pharmaceutical association headquartered in Minneapolis. Large attendance at the M E Missionary society meeting yesterday afternoon at Mrs Chas Armry’s home with an interesting program and light refreshments. Miss Helen Roszell deputy in the county recorder’s office has moved into the J W Scobee residence on East 5th Street and is doing light housekeeping. Last evening Miss Roszell entertained with a dinner party. guests included City Clerk and Mrs W F Gilchrist and Mr and Mrs Scobee.

Last evening Master Wm. Dorsey son of Mr and Mrs Emory Dorsey underwent a major operation at Vinton hospital and is resting comfortably with encouraging signs. Oscar Alden son of Joseph Alden of Shellsburg was admitted for medical treatment yesterday. Wm Stout of Walker, treated for a scalp wound from a truck incident, was discharged Wednesday. The young son and daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry Strong Georgiana and Harrison were released after minor operations.
