New York March 31 Eddie Kane manager of Tommy Gibbons said he broke off negotiations for a bout between Gibbons and Henry Wills the Negro heavyweight at the Milk Fund show May 29. Kane gave Mullins until noon to accept terms. Mullins did not reply and Kane announced the bout off and turned to James De Forest for a possible Gibbons Tunney match at the Milk Fund or June 11.
