Six people were killed and about 40 injured as a tornado and rain storm struck the western state. Warrensville reports 25 houses destroyed and 24 injuries, while Stiffleton has 10 homes damaged and 15 injured. Communications are down and relief teams are rushing medical and food aid to the cotton mill towns.

Kansas City March 7 Four persons killed and twelve wounded when an air tank exploded at the street car barns at 9th and Brighton. The blast ripped the compressing room, toppled walls, and hurled debris into the street. One decapitated body was recovered as firefighters, called from all stations, searched the ruins.

Detectives suspect disgruntled patrons who were held up by three bandits in the rear. No arrests yet.
Methodists will meet Wednesday night for the regular Training Night supper and group meetings in the basement of the Presbyterian church. Picnic supper at 6 14. Everyone bring dishes. Funds would construct an men s dormitory gymnasium hall of science library and expand laboratory and conservatory facilities.
