Shenandoah, Dec. 30. Three fires in this county had peculiar origins. At the home of Charles Spaht a bucket of oil heated for an auto engine overheated and burst into flames. In Clarinda a photographer's flash ignited curtains and blinds at the Iowa Service company. Papers blowing from a desk to a stove in Dr. E. B. Harsian’s office caused another blaze.
